Everybody Needs a Dream Team

Our second book celebration was just as much fun as the first.  This one was in Newnan, Georgia, and the helpers were a group of friends, known as “the Dream Team.” The group members have been friends for many years and are willing to share their gifts whenever one of the team members needs help.

At the celebration they greeted guests, helped with jackets, purses, and name tags. They made hot apple cider and served hot and cold drinks to guests along with cake, cookies, fruit and cheese. They set the tone for the evening as folks enjoyed good food, laughs, interesting conversation, and a reading of Saundria and Kay’s new book.

I would like to encourage each one who reads this blog to begin to gather a dream team of friends right now.  Folks who respect your passions, who want you to succeed. Folks who love you, who want to help you set the tone for a good time whatever that looks like, whether it means planning, cooking, serving, flower arranging, decorating, smiling, or helping folks feel comfortable and cared for.

Everyone needs a dream team. Saundria and Kay are fortunate to have enjoyed their help last weekend as Newnan locals celebrated all that God has done and is going to do through the book: The Jesus Story: Because He Still Loves Us.
